About Devra

Devra is a privately owned five acre estate. Devra literally translates to 'where God resides' - epitomized by tranquillity, serenity of the setting and an 800 year old temple still standing at the sight of Devra. In the local language "Devra" means a Tribal Temple. The estate house is built on a hillock in the lap of Aravali Hills overlooking fields, environs and with some spectacular views of The City Palace, Udaipur. The facade of Devra is completely clad with stone as are all the exterior walls, which create a magnificent set along the fields around. It offers grand panoramic views of the Udaipur environs. The privacy location and the splendid views provide a lush green scape that rejuvenates the senses and it’s been so designed that indoor merges seamlessly with the outdoors. The cuisine served at Devra is exemplary. The efficient and friendly staff of Devra will do their utmost to make your boutique home stay vacation, a memorable one. Children will always be VVIP guests of Devra. While at Devra you will feel miles away from everywhere but you are actually 15 minute drive from the city centre.
